I thought for sure he was colicky because I couldn't do anything to make him stop. I couldn't do the regular blankets either. I never did it tight enough and then by the 4th middle of the night feeding and changing, I would just give up :)Julia Andersonhttp://www.theeverydaymomma.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-546262278078450711.post-32984336819932043282013-11-26T04:26:42.231-08:002013-11-26T04:26:42.231-08:00These are great tips! I remember loving those swaddlers that had the Velcro because I wasn't good at swaddling as tightly with the receiving blankets like they were in the hospital. I remember using the gripe water solution as well. From about a few weeks to 3 months, he would cry and cry starting at like 10pm lol.Brittnei Washingtonnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-546262278078450711.post-48785295621235939812013-11-25T20:44:46.545-08:002013-11-25T20:44:46.545-08:00Thanks for hosting; I love linking up every week! ...Thanks for hosting; I love linking up every week! The book is one of my favorites too, I like reading everyday. Those Golden Books are awesome! So cool that you have it too. I'm definitely keeping it for his kids too :)Julia Andersonhttp://www.theeverydaymomma.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-546262278078450711.post-1593505961642059922013-11-25T20:38:00.759-08:002013-11-25T20:38:00.759-08:00Yea for the price the sleeper is definitely nice, ...Yea for the price the sleeper is definitely nice, especially if you plan on staying over night somewhere. So easy to transport and way easier to pick up baby from there rather than bending over a crib throughout the night. We used it for about 5 months; good investment!Julia Andersonhttp://www.theeverydaymomma.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-546262278078450711.post-24707292782560948392013-11-25T20:34:47.336-08:002013-11-25T20:34:47.336-08:00Yes the jumper is seriously the best toy investmen...Yes the jumper is seriously the best toy investment! We got rid of ours when we moved, but Myles still likes to play with the toys from the outside when he sees them at our friends' houses. I guess i should have kept it lol.. anything to keep them entertained :)Julia Andersonhttp://www.theeverydaymomma.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-546262278078450711.post-36556454862737217702013-11-25T08:15:34.670-08:002013-11-25T08:15:34.670-08:00How awesome! I have seen these Sleeper's at the store and liked them, but it's always better to hear from another mom about something. Also, I second the Baby Einstein Take Along Tunes - my little guy loved it and played with it often.Heathernoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-546262278078450711.post-68913529121393622032013-11-22T10:36:14.644-08:002013-11-22T10:36:14.644-08:00I love a lot of the things you listed here. And it's been a lifesaver with the second baby for the times I need him to be somewhere safe and contained AND entertained while I deal with our older child. Great list!Jessicahttp://www.piganddac.blogspot.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-546262278078450711.post-85695548713892735912013-11-21T16:00:01.217-08:002013-11-21T16:00:01.217-08:00Thanks for the rec! Myles loves music and I have been trying to find a portable player for a long time, but none of them have been exactly what I have been looking for or too expensive! Now that I think of it I might have to buy it before we go on the 4 hour plane ride by myself in a couple weeks :)Julia Andersonhttp://www.theeverydaymomma.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-546262278078450711.post-55807725295224926232013-11-20T21:14:48.977-08:002013-11-20T21:14:48.977-08:00A toy we could not live without is the Baby Einste...A toy we could not live without is the Baby Einstein Take Along Tunes. It's this little music box thingy that plays a handful of classical songs and lights up. M LOVES it, and has been in love with it since he was probably 6(ish) months. We've gone through 2 of these toys because he plays it so much. It's perfect for traveling too! Fits in any bag/purse/diaper bag. The best part? It's pretty inexpensive.

http://www.amazon.com/Baby-Einstein-Take-Along-Tunes/dp/B000YDDF6ODesiree @ Macke Monologuesnoreply@blogger.com
