We are only four days into our Illinois vacation and we have already packed in so much fun and family time that I think it's going to take at least a week to recover! However I have a busy week of crafting and DIYing my way to Myles' dream Toy Story party and Myles has lots of playing and cuddling to be had with all his friends and family still!
Last week I was editing photos for Myles' 18th month update and I found pictures from a day we spent at the park. I decided to bring along my new Canon T3i to get some practice. These were the first pictures I ever took with a real camera. I instantly fell in love with the quality of pictures and ease of use. And how can I go wring with a cutest subject around.
This was on January 20th, 2014. Myles was still in his ball obsessed phase and had to carry one around with him everywhere he went.
What is your kid's favorite toy?
That last picture with the sun flair is awesome!
ReplyDeleteI love using my "good" camera, the quality of picture is always SO much better than with my phone.
We can't get enough of any kind of sports ball: soccer ball, football, basketball... All of them!
AWW! It's fun having a nice camera even though it does NOT help me at all. My photography skills suck, period point blank. These look adorable and awwww! Boys and their balls..haha I pretty much buy a ball each time I go to the grocery store with Dylan because he's obsessed too. I'm glad you had a fun trip! Welcome back!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh. How cute is he carrying around the ball EVERYWHERE!? So sweet.
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures Julia! I LOVE that camera :) I rarely use my phone anymore if I have the option lol.
ReplyDeleteThanks! I was so surprised at a couple of the shots that I got for my first time using the camera. I love having it, but I tend to not take it everywhere I want to because it's big and I don't want to carry it around. I would normally jsut use my phone but the camera is messed up and take crappy blurry pictures :( I wish my phone pics looked like yours!
ReplyDeleteI'm not very good either, but the camera takes really nice pictures. I just use auto (oops) so it's not like I really have a clue, but the pictures come out really sharp and clear as opposed to my phone. I went through that stage too. Every store we went to Myles would find a ball... good thing they are mostly cheap!
ReplyDeleteHis ball obsession was a little worrisome for a while there! We couldn't go anywhere without a ball and he would freak out if he saw someone with one and he didn't have one. He still loves balls but now he is learning to play sports with them and it's so fun. I wish we could get out little guys together. They would have so much fun!
ReplyDeleteIsn't it the best! I left it at my mom's and am dying without it! We went to an airplane museum today and I was so sad I didn't have it! It is so easy to use, that was the first time I used it and I thought the pictures were pretty good!
