Myles' First Holiday Pictures 2012

I'm quite ashamed to say that I didn't get professional pictures taken of Myles until he was 3.5 months old. I really regret not getting newborn pictures taken of him :(  You can never go back to do those things... I am trying to be better about doing everything with Myles even if I don't feel like it. The even sadder part is that since then I have yet to get any more professional pictures done. Almost a year later and all I have are my far-from-professional-looking photos of my little man. I do plan on getting this years holiday ones done very soon though!
Anywho, here are his 1st holiday season photos from last year. These were taken in the beginning of December when he was 3.5 months old.

Thanks for stopping by to check out my little one!

Are you doing professional holiday pictures this year?

  1. How adorable are those photos!! Such a cutie!!! And I can totally testify to the importance of getting professional photos done! I try to do family photos at least once a year, and I encourage all of my clients to do the same! It's never money wasted. :)

    1. I completely agree! It may seem like a hassle and an extra expense, but I always happy when I get them done. I know people who do them more often, and sometimes I wish I would have, but I am happy with at least once a year. Wish you were closer, to take our photos! What camera do you use?

  2. These are adorable pictures! It is important to get professional photos done, but we didn't get the first ones until several months after birth too. Things happen, life taking care of an infant (or toddler or preschooler...lol) gets busy!

    1. I waited so long because I wanted to have family ones, but I was so exhausted all the time (and still not happy with my weight) that I never felt good enough to want my picture taken. I kept waiting thinking I would feel better but it didn't happen for a long time, so we ended up getting just him. I'm hoping this year we can do family ones with all of us. I can totally relate to the 'life getting in the way of life' thing. I don't feel like doing it, but then I regret that I didn't!

  3. Beautiful photos! I so know what you mean about things you don't do and regret later. I think we all have those things, but you just have to accept it and move on like you're doing. Like you said, can't go back and redo it now. I regret not getting tiny handprints early on or recording her newborn cry! Would love to have those things now. Thanks for the post, I am following from the Mommy Monday hop.

    1. I know I just have to remember how sad I am that I didn't do certain things, so I step-up and actually start doing them now.. or I will just keep regretting :( I just get so caught up in boring everyday life stuff that it all gets so overwhelming.
Newborn cry and handprints.. I didn't get that either. I really wish I would have done prints and then kept doing it! I need to start his growth chart now!

  6. These are entirely way too precious! I love them all. He is a sweet little baby boy.
With my daughter, I did all the milestones and holidays professionally. With my son, he is about to be a year old and he has never had any professional photos done and I really want to do them. Maybe for Christmas time. I took his newborn photos myself {I do a bit of my own photography but do not in any way claim to be professional} He's a very hard little boy to sit still for the camera :)

    1. It definitely only seems to get harder the older they get! I want to do holiday pictures again this year, but I am not sure how they will turn out because he never stops and I don't want to spend the money to not get any I like. We still haven't gotten any family ones yet so the plan is to get them all done at once and hope for a miracle :) I also want to get into photography a little. I am asking for a real camera for Christmas. Right now I only have my iphone. What kind of camera do you have?
