I'm back for another edition of The Boys Behind the Blog with Mal and Stephanie. I only recently found out about this link-up, but have loved being apart of it for the last couple of months. Unfortunately, I am very sad to report that this will be the final installment of the series that Mal and Stephanie have been putting together monthly. I guess all good things must come to an end and I am glad to have met some awesome ladies already, so life must go on! So without further ado, I bring to you all that is the Boy Behind My Blog:

1. What was your first job? My first official job was when I was 14. I had to wake up at 4am and roll a bunch of Newspapers. I delivered them over a mile through the snow. I also had to do that same route to collect all the money every week. I made about 80 bucks after 2 weeks then I was done. Funny how he makes it seem like it was such a tough job and that he endured it for such a time... nope done after two weeks! I'm pretty sure he quit 75% of his jobs within a couple weeks (no for real)! I have heard stories for days about how crappy his jobs were and how mean his bosses were and how he had to get up so early and could never go to sleep on time. Luckily for him he has the ambition and sales knowledge to now work for himself; otherwise I would have to have a job (LOL)!
2. What is the biggest risk you've ever taken? The biggest risk I’ve ever taken probably involved a police chase that ended in no one getting hurt or arrested, so I’ll shut up now. I had to ask what he was talking about when I read this answer. I was not expecting him to go that route with the question. I figured he would want that kept a secret.. haha... I thought for sure he was going to say something about moving to California. But nope he had to go all gangsta on me. I guess we are pretty gangsta ;)
3. What is one thing you can't live without? I would say Julia and Myles but that's 2, so I guess I’d have to say warm weather. Awe he was trying to be sweet! What a nice guy he can be (on the internet). I'm glad he picked something else though because family is a pretty cliche answer. I mean of course you can't live without me! You really can't live with me either, but that's love right!?!? But yes one major thing we have in common is our love of warm weather. Ever since we met we talked about getting out of the Midwest. We lived in Florida for a bit, and then finally made our way out to California last year. The weather here is a dream come true for both of us!
4. What is your least favorite food? Hmmm, I like so many. I’d have to say American. (I still like American just the least) After reading his answer and the question again, I think the question was asking about a specific food, not food type. So I asked him what his least favorite food was and he couldn't think of anything. I can't say that that is a lie either. He will try anything I make (at least once) and has never said not to make something ever again (although it might not be his favorite). I never thought about it before now, but I am lucky that he is open to all foods. Cooking and meal planning would be a lot harder if he was picky. We definitely tend to eat more Asian, Italian, and Mexican over American at our house though.

5. If you could time travel, where/when would you go? If I could time travel, I would go back to my Freshman year in high school and do it all over and graduate with honors (education is wasted on the youth)! I'm sure a lot of people feel that way. And that saying is so true. I was pretty rare in that I liked school and learning, but as a teacher now I can say that many kids do not see the importance of education for their future. Education is a privilege we have in the US that most of the youth in the rest of the world will never get to have or experience. *Okay, stepping off of my soapbox now* I love this answer and no matter what, I am so proud of what Mark has become through everything that life has thrown him. He is constantly trying to educate himself on tons of different topics (albeit 90% of them are conspiracy theories) and has grown to have a thirst for knowledge that seems to be impossible to quench! GO Mark :)
